I'd like to think that listening to a prospective purchaser is one of the most important elements in developing a good working relationship. This home or land purchase can be the most valuable investment in the client's life. And certainly in these times "they want to get it right the first time". Many times a Buyer may think that the Northern Neck is where they want to be. But when they have seen the very big charm that the close knit Village of Mathews offers, sometimes this becomes a better fit for the new adventure that retirement brings them. 90 percent of the time many folks are really unfamiliar with the Northern Neck and/or the Middle Peninsula. Becoming acquainted with all the Bay area can really be a big help to the Buyer. After a while the biggest compliment that I receive from a buyer is "Well, you know what we are looking for."
